Custom’s flyball career began in Summer 2015, quickly establishing himself as a dog with both power and heart. In his third tournament, he helped Some Ruff Competition set a best time of 15.66, then lowered it to 15.4 and 15.2 in the next two consecutive events. What stood out was not only his speed, quickly hitting 3.4s, but also his consistency and versatility in any lineup. He helped our club reach new heights, with a best of 14.87 and a trip to the CanAm invitational rounds in 2017. He would return to the CanAm invitational in 2019 and 2024. Custom’s career was defined by his drive and adaptability, racing with over 30 handlers over a decade. He always held the same technique, enthusiasm, and reliability. He remained a steady teammate for experienced handlers and a patient guide for new ones, continuing to race in his 11th season. Out of the lanes, he was Glenn’s devoted companion and a great teacher to our club's young dogs. Custom’s parting legacy is one of speed, heart, and joy for the game. We believe his results and qualities are worthy of recognition.

This year I nominate my dog kind of. My daughter Alli has grown up in Flyball. She has run many dogs starting at age 2. Snyper was trained by me but when she had the chance, she stole her from me! Snyper is a 9-year-old Border/Jack and she came from Seeker and Mickey. Many of the "old" folks remember Mickey in the bucket with lots of attitude. Snyper is sure her father's daughter and brings it all to the mat. Alli has done a great job running her as a height dog on our A team. Snyper was hit by a car not so long ago and this could have ended her career. With many Doctors and Chiro visits she has come back even stronger than before. She has posted low 4's and can run any position. She is getting really close to 100,000 and this would be the 1st Tullar dog to receive this. I am very proud of this handler/dog team, and they deserve MVP of Region 3!!

05/15/14 ??" 04/18/25 Ruff Position is nominating Aero Naut for Region 4’s MVP. Aero’s training first began in Agility, then Flyball. It was apparent he loved running and picked up quickly on all aspects of the sport. Aero and Mike started their official NAFA flyball career in August 2016. During his flyball career, he became the 2nd Keeshond in NAFA with 51,779 points and earned his Iron Dog on 11/16/24. In 2023 he was the start dog on our CANAM Division Championship team. Aero has run as fast as 5.063 seconds and has been voted most consistent. His last tournament was in March 2025, and he ran like a champ. But MVP isn’t just about numbers; it’s about impact. Aero thrived in any position, with his favorite being the start position, adjusting seamlessly to different dogs and situations. Off the lanes, Aero was a true teammate, calm and friendly. Aero was never bothered by other dogs ??" big, small, various breeds, he loved running with them all and often used in training new dogs. In every sense, Aero embodies what flyball is about, athleticism, teamwork, and a love for the sport. Aero is more than deserving of the title MVP.

Before recently retiring, Missy earned her Iron Dog, and more than 81,000 points. More importantly, Missy was consistent and reliable, running well on any team and in any position. What I love most about Missy is her contagious joy and excitement! Throughout her career, she was a wonderful example of what flyball should be for every dog!

There are plenty of dogs worthy of an MVP nomination, yet Rebel is a notch above. She’s an incredible dog, a fierce competitor, and the most reliable teammate. Heck, just recently achieved her personal best at almost 8 years old. But what makes Rebel so special is how she transformed our team’s training program. Arizona Supercharged was forced to level up our training and commitment to the sport to match Rebel’s natural talent and dedication. She’s arguably still in her prime, yet she’s already established a legacy. Her lasting impact can be seen in every racing dog on our team. Because of Rebel, we’re all better flyball competitors and I can’t think of a better definition of MVP.

Over the past 10 years, Ace has made his way into many hearts in Region 7, he is the littlest dog with the biggest heart and a dash of attitude. Ace is still rocking out his time in the lanes at close to 14 years of age. He has been such an integral part of Kaotic K9's for the past six years as the only height dog, did he disappoint - yes - did he rock it out - yes - but he is and has been the most important member for years. Ace has been one of the most challenging dogs to train but once he got there the most rewarding. The little mixy mix that could........

I am nominating Cider for Region 7 MVP. He may be my own dog but he has run for so many different handlers on several teams. For a dog of the young age of 3 years old, he is solid and rarely makes a mistake. He can run for anyone in any position and pass any dog with success and clean fast times. He is a joy to run and so consistent and a great asset for new handlers to learn with. He ran for the first time at Can Am this past year as a savage height dog over 9" jumps and was flawless. I can hand him off to anyone and be in the lanes with him or in a completely different ring and he will do his job and get his tuggy. He has traveled to tournaments in Indiana, California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and 2 Canadian provinces British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Nothing fazes or frazzles him. In the first tournament of the 2026 flyball year he will hopefully earn his 10,000 point FMX title I am so proud to call Cider my teammate and partner. Looking forward to many more years in the lane with this awesome boy.

Puget Hounds Flyball proudly nominates Daisy as Regional MVP in recognition of her unwavering consistency, speed, and team spirit. Daisy has spent most of her career as the team’s reliable start dog, with multiple perfect starts to her credit. She regularly ran in the low 4s and, at 10 years old, still clocks in the high 4s ??" a remarkable feat of endurance and athleticism. Her adaptability is unmatched: Daisy will run with anyone, having raced successfully with multiple teams across the region. Even through challenges ??" including tournament disruptions during COVID and a new baby in her family ??" Daisy remained a pillar of strength, traveling with teammates and running in Bonnie’s absence to ensure Puget Hounds could field a team. More than just fast, Daisy embodies the heart of Flyball: dedication, resilience, and joy in the sport. She has kept her team in the game time and again, and her legacy continues to inspire.

Opa is a Career Change (the nice way to say flunkout) guide dog whose enthusiasm was just too much for guide work. Luckily, his trainer Michael adopted him??"despite always scoffing at Flyball as “too loud” and “too chaotic.” Thanks to Opa (and a little peer pressure from friends and coworkers), Michael soon discovered that Flyball is the most fun a dog and human can have together. Opa has raced in 34 tournament weekends, most of those on open teams, graciously filling roster spots for clubs needing a solid, reliable teammate. He’s an any-position dog??"unflappable, easygoing, and always ready to run. Off the lanes, Opa has been our “go-to guy” at fun matches and practices, helping young dogs with their training and building their confidence. He’s also been a star teammate for new handlers, giving them the perfect introduction to handling a racing dog before they run their own dogs at a tournament. His willingness to work with anyone and his steady, joyful attitude have made him an invaluable part of our Flyball community. His handler’s okay too. Opa embodies everything Flyball is about??"heart, teamwork, and pure fun. He’s a true MVP.

Swindle: You've seen her I'm sure! She's been racing for 10 years, achieved her IRON DOG just this year. She's a crazed Malinois and that comes naturally to her, with one of the best dispositions. Swindle has left her mark in our Region in more ways than one. She is still racing in the lanes and she's not slowing down anytime soon. She has been a great ambassador for the breed and one of the pioneer Malinois in our region. She is making her way up in the breed rankings, currently sitting at #4. Swindle has been bomb proof running in any position, with any dogs, nothing fazes her. She has played in many different regions and played with many different teams within our region as well as a few others. Swindle is a great all around sports dog but flyball will always remain her favorite thing to do. True MVP

Gooey began her flyball career with Taylor back in 2015 earning her first title on July 26. Gooey was hands down one of the well-known height dogs in our region and was a fantastic training dog for new handlers and dogs alike. As long as you had her tug, Gooey would happily run for anyone who you would pass her to. She wasn’t your typical Div 1 height dog (shh, don’t tell her that), but she was OUR ole' reliable height dog and we wouldn't be where we are without the little engine that could! During her racing career, she competed in 4 provinces (Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, and BC), as well as Washington, Oregon, and Minneapolis. Retiring earlier this year with 66,330 points and her Iron Dog Award, we would like to nominate Gooey for regional MVP for all of her years of putting up with the big dogs in the lanes. Happy retirement little one!

Link is a 7-year-old terrier mix and the rock of Flyball NRG. After COVID, he was the team’s only racing dog and kept things going by running with other teams and in open while NRG rebuilt. He can run any position, on any team, and on any box, always solid and dependable. Link is not just fast, he’s consistent and reliable every single time. He’s also been a huge help teaching new dogs the ropes. Link is patient and steady, giving green dogs the chance to build confidence and get ready for tournaments. Link hasn’t just been valuable to his own team, he’s been an MVP for many other teams as well. Fast, reliable, and always ready to help, Link is everything you’d want in a flyball dog.

NuQ is the best Flyball Ambassador ever seen in our Region. He embodies the delight this game brings to dogs everywhere. Even with some white around the muzzle he bounds into the building, and will play any position with any other dogs any time he's allowed to. He's some bigger than the average flyball dog, but his heart and excitement are downright enormous. His consistency and commitment are amazing. I have shagged balls for many a dog, and he's a delight because his balls roll back to the same place heat after heat. He has inspired many dogs and people and there was a huge round of applause at a recent tournament where he earned his 50,000 points. In our region, where you have to travel far if you want to play more than 3 or 4 tournaments a year, this is a wonderful achievement. Spectators are entranced by his joy and his wagging affection for everyone he meets, every time he plays. Though into his senior years, he is consistently in the low to mid 4 seconds--a super example of how good conditioning, proper vet care, and irrepressible joy can make flyball a delight for your dog.

Rumr has been the heart of Diamonds in the Ruff for many years and embodies everything an MVP should be. As our height dog, Rumr played a vital role in our team’s success, first in the 16s and later the 15s. Her personal best of 4.01 seconds and held steady with 4.0??"4.1 times for years, she was always dependable in any lineup. Remarkably, Rumr accomplished this after she had suffered a broken leg early in her life and later in life a heart condition. Rumr’s career is not defined not only by her speed and consistency, but by the bond she built with her young handler, Haylee. Almost as soon as Haylee could walk, Rumr has been her steady partner and greatest teacher. Together they have grown, learned, and achieved milestones that have shaped both of their journeys in flyball. Over the years Rumr was by countless handlers, veterans and newcomers alike, as long as her tug was waiting at the end. She retires at the age of 12 as an Iron dog and over 70K in points. Most importantly, she leaves the lanes healthy, happy, and celebrated as the remarkable teammate she has always been.

Seeker has been nothing less than flawless from day one. She started her career in 2019, running one tournament, then Covid hit. She came back to race in 2021 basically as a new dog, and never looked back. She has become our teams most consistent start dog, a dog you can throw in any position needed, rarely ever runs higher than a 3.8 all weekend long, and a dog you can always rely on to do her job and rarely make a mistake. This girl has been through so much in her life (if you know, you know), and to watch her become the dog she is today, brings tears to my eyes every time I watch her race. For me, she is a dog who is a true MVP each and every day of her life. If she becomes Region 8's MVP, it is a well deserved honor for her. Her story is a rocky beginning, but she's not finished yet. She has yet to achieve more things with all the fight she has to give. Our truly unstoppable girl with more heart and try within her than ever seen. A once in a lifetime girl.

At only 9lbs, Storm Blanchard runs purely on heart. She’s always ready to jump in on an open team and give other dogs a break, and last CanAm she even helped Like Magic get in the lanes as a loaned height dog. Storm is a joy to watch and a true asset to our region.

This boy is all heart! He may not be the "cleanest" running dog, but he never stops trying. Fennec's ability to help others in the club is where he really shines! He has helped grow so many greenies and help kickstart their careers. Head-to-head work, passing, distraction work, we can always trust him to do his job. He has also helped many new handlers get started in the sport! He doesn't care who has his reward, this boy just wants to play! This makes it so easy to get people into the lanes to get a taste of this crazy fun sport and get them good and hooked lol. Just point and shoot (ok, there's a bit if wrestling involved too lol), and he'll do the rest. Fennec's focus, his determination to do his job, and his solid temperament makes him an MVP in our club year after year. Good boy Fennec!

What can we say about Lexi!? This little power house, loved by momma Dianne, has been the nuts and bolts of our Flat Out team for most of her racing career. As is true for many dogs in our region, Lexi has contributed immensely to the successes of our team, our club, and to the training of green dogs. She will run in any position and can be handled by others. So what makes her special? Why cast your votes for her? Flyball dogs are more than what they bring to the mats. A Region MVP can be a top dog in many ways and Lexi has kept Dianne connected to this large flyball family. Lexi gives Dianne what we hope and pray for all of us, an active lifestyle full of laughs and loves, into our senior years. For that reason, and so many others, we respectfully submit Lexi as our nominee for Region 10 MVP.

Tonka earned his FD in August of 2015, his FG50K in August of 2023 and his IRON DOG in April of 2024. He can run with any handler and in any position, and has raced in Regions 2, 10 and 13. He is a dog with singular focus and consistency. He knows his job and never lets anything faze him, whether it be dogs crossing, a dropped ball or a dog barking in his face. For years he was often double listed, whenever a team needed a solid dog. He is confident and even tempered, both in the lanes and off, so he is perfect to help train green dogs. Tonka still loves flyball, and will continue to play and help the young ones be the best that they can be. In his down time, Tonka likes to snuggle with his family, play with puppies, cats and humans, and loves them all.

We would like to nominate Plai It Again for Region 12 MVP. Plai started flyball in March 2016 and receives constant accolades from other clubs and competitors that he is so much fun to watch and always gives 100%. He is a gentleman on and off the lanes with other dogs and is used regularly to train young dogs with passing & head to head racing. Plai can also be trusted to run with multiple handlers at tournaments whenever needed. Fun fact, Plai has attended every tournament hosted in Region 12 since he started racing. He holds Adrenaline Drive Club's record for highest pointed dog at 56,000+ and earned his Iron Dog award this racing season. He is always dependable and shows us he is in amazing shape and isn't slowing down yet running consistently under 4 seconds on the clubs Division 1 team.

We are honoured to nominate Rumba ??" Ghost Eye’s ‘Lil Latin Dancer as the 2025 North American Flyball Association Regional MVP. This small but mighty Miniature Australian Shepherd embodies everything a true MVP should be. At just 7 inches, Rumba doesn’t even need a “set” ??" her handler, Christina Chapelsky, simply drops her on “GO!” and she’s off like lightning. With a personal best of 4.637 seconds in pass, Rumba proves that heart and determination matter more than size. Now eight years old, Rumba continues to be an incredibly valuable member of NPP. She can confidently step into any position, from height dog to a solid spot on our Division 1 team, always giving her all. Fearless in the lanes, she will happily run into any dog, even those three times her size, without hesitation. Beyond her speed and skill, Rumba’s dedication and spirit inspire her teammates and highlight the importance of height dogs in Flyball. With 22,706 regular points (and counting), she is not only a competitor but a true cornerstone of our club. Rumba is proof that great things come in small packages, and we believe she exemplifies the heart, talent, and sportsmanship that the Regional MVP award represents.

Ernie started his flyball career 10 years ago with a “ruff start!” He raced to get the ball and then raced right out of the building! Over the years Ernie has raced on teams his home Syracuse and Lake Effect and many others with a total of 82 dogs. Ernie has shown that flyball isn’t just about the dogs it’s about a whole racing community coming together and having a blast. Racing wise Ernie was never a start dog but raced in the pack and preferred anchor. He’s always kept it together and held his confidence on the many times he’s been crossed on in the lanes. Master of bobble ball recovery and making the jumps. Consistently happy even when not racing, Ernie’s heart is with the community. He loves every human he meets. That nub never stops wagging!

Via has been a cornerstone Mass Chaos’ success and she is a shining representative of Region 13’s spirit. At eight years old, this little Border Jack continues to compete at a high level. From the beginning, Via was a dream to train. She was quick to learn, eager to please, and naturally focused. This laid the foundation for what has been a remarkably consistent career. Throughout her time in flyball, she has delivered reliable, steady runs, tournament after tournament, year after year. Via has been successfully run by many handlers over the years. She has taught many people how to play the game, giving new and seasoned competitors alike the chance to learn from her dependable performance and steady temperament. Via brings a contagious energy that motivates her teammates, both canine and human. Her adaptability, running in a variety of lineups and positions without hesitation, has made her an invaluable asset to the team. Deborah and Ben have fostered her natural talent with their dedication and commitment to flyball, creating a perfect match for the sport. For her consistent excellence, team spirit, and lasting impact on Region 13’s flyball community, Via is more than deserving of the 2025 NAFA Region 13 MVP award.

Daisy a mixed rescue dog that has improved every year she has competed. She is always consistent and on point, and been an integral part of the team as a whole. Whether that is running on a championship team or speeding up a slower team for points.

The Queen City Road Runners nominate "Sylvia" of the Dixie Flyers for Region 14 MVP representing the All-American rescue. You will know when Sylvia is present at tournaments as she proudly announces her arrival with boisterous barks. She anxiously awaits her turn to play her favorite sport and snag the coveted ball. Jennifer adopted Sylvia from rescue after being dumped on the side of the road along with her mother and sibling. Sylvia is 12 years young and not slowing down. She boasts Iron Dog, Multibreed Onyx and HOBBES!! Sylvia has helped field our teams when needed and is always happy and eager to help any club when needed. She can run any position and for any handler. But, be warned, you better have cheese to reward her efforts. (She doesn't work for free after all.) Sylvia stays busy between races stealing stuffed toys from raffle tables, photo booths and other dogs' crating areas. Sylvia's motto is to live life to the fullest and PLAY FLYBALL!

I am proud to nominate Dax for the title of Regional Most Valuable Player (MVP). Dax embodies the spirit, athleticism, and focus that define flyball excellence. Dax consistently delivers high-performance runs, averaging 4.9 seconds at 11+ years old and rarely making errors. Dax brings drive to every heat, but what truly sets Dax apart is her versatility and teamwork??"fitting seamlessly into multiple lineups and adapting to the unique dynamics of each race. In August 2025, Dax earn her HOBBES, a significant achievement in our sport demonstrating her longevity in and love for the game. I wholeheartedly believe Dax deserves to be recognized for the excellence she has brought to the sport. Thank you for considering Dax for this honor.

Scallywags is proud to nominate Whisper for the MVP of Region 15. Whisper has been running full-time since 2017 and is the ROCK of our team. She earned her Hobbs in Dec. of 2024. She is an incredibly consistent start dog. At nine years old she still runs her 3.9 to 4.1 seconds every heat of a Tournament weekend, and her handlers know they can count on her every time. In addition to her incredible athleticism, Whisper serves as a veteran helper dog on our team because nothing distracts her from her job, including green dog shenanigans. During practice and tournaments, she will run for absolutely anyone, she is often the dog we use to hook newcomers on racing, letting them handle "The Ferrari" as her late owner, Russ Bobb always called her. No matter what, you can always find Whisper vibrating with excitement on the sideline as she waits for her turn in the lanes and another chance to do the thing she loves the most-- Play the game

Marin Running Riot is proud to nominate AmaZing (Zing) for 2025 Region 16 MVP. Zing is our little swiss-army-knife dog - she can run in any spot in the line-up, she will pass and take a pass from anyone, she will run for any handler, and she will run for whatever is in your pocket - even, in a pinch, treat-flavored pocket lint. :) She is 100% reliable, a team bulwark, and can step in and help when another dog needs a break. In addition, Zing played a pivotal role in training all eight new dogs our club debuted in FY2025, helping to teach them the foundations they need to know to be safe and successful flyball dogs. Zing is the #1 dog who teaches our new handlers how to play flyball, and has trained at least 7 new handlers in the last couple of years. On top of that, she loves people and is a great ambassador for the sport.

Don’t let her size fool you??"Mojo is a 7-inch powerhouse with a heart that races bigger than dogs twice her size. Since her debut in 2020, Mojo has proven to be one of the most versatile and dependable dogs in the lanes. She can run in any position, has raced for multiple handlers, and seamlessly integrated into lineups across three different clubs, making her a true team player in every sense. Mojo’s flyball journey has taken her across multiple regions, seven states, and even international borders, where she’s competed with consistency, determination, and undeniable grit. She’s a familiar face at CanAm, and in 2024, her skill and spirit helped her club clinch the title of Multibreed Division Three Champions. She’s also earned her place in the record books as the #5 all-time Danish Swedish Farmdog in points, a remarkable achievement that reflects her dedication and longevity in the sport. Mojo brings more than just reliability to the team??"she brings heart, adaptability, and a steady presence that every lineup can count on. Small but mighty, she embodies everything the Nafa Flyball MVP title stands for.

Ducky began her life in a remote Alaskan village. As a puppy, she was taken into rescue and quickly became a "foster fail." Despite being born blind in one eye, she has never let it slow her down! Throughout the 2025 racing year, Ducky proved herself indispensable. In tournaments, she was a go-to dog for double-listing as backup. She easily fit onto multiple teams in varying positions in the same tourney, sometimes even running for different handlers. She is also consistently in high demand at practices helping train newer dogs, as well as giving junior handlers experience running a dog. At CanAm 2024, Ducky was instrumental in helping ADGW win the Regular Division 8 Championship. She also stepped up to help our Open team when a back-up dog was needed. In the years to come, watch for this red-headed beauty, head tilted slightly to the side to see the lane ahead, quietly doing her job with the determination and grace of a true MVP.

Ruger, a nine-year-old rescue owned by Mike & Linda Hall, is a true gem in the flyball world. With an exceptional career spanning seven years, Ruger and the Hall’s have shown their dedication to flyball and Region 19. Ruger is known for his reliability and consistency. He can adapt to any team, in any position, rarely committing errors. His consistent times and five career “Perfect Starts” have solidified his reputation as a valuable asset to any team. Ruger has run with most Region 19 clubs: Ruff, Bad Company, Altitude, Agents of Chaos, Fourward Momentum, 5280 Spaceballs, and Denver Speed Demons. His contributions have earned him nearly 70,000 career points, and he will be competing in his fourth Can Am Nationals in 2025. Despite racing in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota and Indiana, Ruger has never missed a Region 19 tournament. His exceptional performance has made him a sought-after resource for back-up or team completion, ensuring the continued competitiveness of Region 19 teams, making him our “go to” dog to save the day. Ruger’s remarkable contributions have earned him our utmost respect. We ask for the regions support recognizing his dedication and contribution to Region 19, by naming him MVP.

Kevin’s a girl?! In this case no??"he’s a loving Border Collie named after the silly bird from Up! whose joyful, goofy spirit lights up the flyball lanes. Snipe proudly holds his FMX title and aims for his Iron Dog, but more importantly, he’s the heart and soul of BRB. He’s a steady, reliable teammate and he’s been a patient teacher and distraction dog for countless dogs in training. Known as a tugging champ, Snipe can usually be found thrashing his bottle tug after races, muffling his endless, boisterous barks! Nearing 10 years of racing, his body has slowed, but his spirit hasn’t faded. Though semi-retired, he’s been an incredible athlete, a calm and patient uncle to all the puppies on the team, and just the goofiest, most loving dog you could ever meet. Snipe radiates joy, peace, and love everywhere he goes. His wild zoomies, unshakable heart, and unconditional devotion have left a lasting impact on his teammates and the sport. For everything he’s given and everything he is, we believe Snipe is more than deserving of the Region 19 MVP award. We love you, Boopsie!

We are nominating Archer for the Region 21 MVP, because he was a very special dog. To Jessica Betts, he was her heart dog. They were so in tone. You could see the intensity of their bond when she called him off the box and he would drive back to her, helicoptering his normally high-tilted left tail, smiling so big that his little eyes would squint. To our team, Archer was the height dog full of hype and a trainer. So many green handlers learned how to run a dog or refined their passing using Archer's guidance. to region, Archer represented DC, was a fun competitor, and steady teammate. Archer was a small dog but had the biggest heart. He poured himself into every task 100%. He was the epitome of "Run Fast, Bark Loud." When Archer passed this May, he left a hole in all our hearts. For Jess, flyball has not been quite the same without her heart dog. We are nominating Archer, posthumously, because we feel he embodies the spirt of the game. We carry his heart with us every time we enter the ring.

140849 When you think about a perfect dog, you don’t usually think of a 24” pony. But Ping is the dream dog everyone hopes to have. He is an OG who took Skidz training and speed to the next level. He has multiple Invitational/Divisional finals under his belt, club records, solid 3.5s in his prime and, at 11 years old, is still running 3.8 in the pack. I hardly wanted to mention his flyball accomplishments since that is not even his biggest impact. Ping has helped so many green dogs and handlers. He has run for strangers. Kids. Other clubs. On all the boxes. His contribution to the sport and people wanting to play is insurmountable. He missed his calling as a therapy dog, leaning in for the head scratches. And his notorious tug suckling outside of the ring. He goes to bed with his kid every night. The goodest of the good boys. Ping, you’re one in a billion. You’re always our MVP.
